Jeff Israel joined Black Creek Investment Management in 2013 and has more than 20 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Black Creek, Jeff was Portfolio Manager with Sun Life Global Investments where he was responsible for portfolio management, cash flow management and trading on asset allocation strategies. In addition, he was responsible for managing a derivative-based global equity fund as well as overseeing the firm’s FX hedging program.
Previously Jeff was Director, Investments and Analytics, for a mutual fund company where he was responsible for oversight of the firm’s investment managers. He has also held a number of progressive roles with a major investment firm that focused on serving larger institutional investment management clients.
Jeff has a Master of Finance degree from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a minor in economics, from Wilfrid Laurier University. Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder and holds the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.
