Samir Jhaveri joined Black Creek Investment Management in 2013 and has over 19 years of investment experience with a focus on global equities.
Prior to joining Black Creek, Samir spent over two years in London, managing private wealth across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income and angel investments. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager at OMERS where, as the first member of the internal global equities team, he helped build the research platform and the global equity fund. Samir began his investment career as a global equity analyst at McLean Budden in 2000, where he held positions of increasing responsibility until leaving in 2005 to pursue his MBA.
Samir earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction from the University of Toronto and an MBA from INSEAD. He has completed courses on Behavioural Finance at Harvard University and studied the History of Financial Markets through the Edinburgh Business School. He also is a CFA® Charterholder.
